Image Credit: AMD Update 10/21/21 10 am PT: Microsoft has now released the Windows 11 patch to the general public. This clip contains a second bug fix that causes L3 repository delays and bandwidth issues. That means both necessary adjustments are now available for AMD processors. We have amended the text below and added the appropriate line from the Windows changelog to the end of the title. AMD also confirmed to Tom's Hardware to release a clip of one of the two bugs that lead to reduced Windows 11 performance and impact on the game's Best CPUs.   Alder Lake's hybrid power on LN2 After a surprisingly long wait, Intel has officially announced the 12th Generation Alder Lake processors, the first standard components that support DDR5 and PCIe 5.0. Our citizen Allen 'Splave' Golibersuch wasted no time breaking a few world records with new hybrid chips during an Intel live broadcast event. With the help of a few liquid nitrogen tanks, Splave pushed the Core 9-12900K to 6.8 GHz into Golden Cove Performance cores (P-cores), and 5.3 GHz to Gracemont cores Efficiency cores (E-cores ). He also dialed 5.5 GHz on the ring / cache. For reference, the Core i9-12900K includes 5.2 GHz P-core clocks and 3.9 GHz E-core boost. That’s 31% and a 36% overclock on P-and E-cores, respectively. ASRock's Z690 Aqua OC Edition was the Splave motherboard of choice. The OC Edition is almost a carbon copy of the vanilla Z690 Aqua, with the exception of two few DDR5 memory spaces. The dual-DIMM design aims to improve memory overclocking. The ...
